I am goal oriented in many areas of my life. I set goals in my athletics, to be the best of the game, to be the best competitor I can be is important to me. I set goals in my relationships with people, God, and myself. I think if you are goal oriented you have an advantage. You are more competitive, determined, and motivated than your competition. Some people are born with goals, some people have to find them but in the end we all reached somewhere by making goals.
Gladwells opinion of the daily question is that he believes that if you are talented and goal oriented than you can go anywhere. So people do have advantages, the people that are older are typically smarter or more talented. They have experience under their belt.
